Hello, I’m nearing retirement and would like to turn my passion for rugby into a fun, hopefully profitable pursuit, where can a 63 year old learn statistics and be taught how to write spreadsheets that calculate outcomes of rugby matches that are true to statistical data?

There are a number of universities and others offering free courses. I am a bit out of the loop on what exactly is available so suggest you google for free courses and try and find one which suits your background and goals.

I don’t recommend gambling on sports. Never done it myself.
